Linda Bishop has been performing music in one way or another since joining her first band, Venus, at the age of sixteen. She spent a few years in the Mississippi and Nashville music scenes before coming to the Dallas area in the late 1980s.
Linda formed her own original rock band in 1990 and was named one of the top female vocalists in Dallas/Ft. Worth by The Dallas Music News and Buddy magazine.
In the mid 90s, Linda recorded a Contemporary Christian album, Walk Through the Fields, and traveled the country giving concerts at church events.
Linda is the former lead vocalist and co-band leader of the band "Mars Hill" formed in 2000 in Dallas. She is currently the co-band leader and lead singer for the dance/variety band Special Edition in Dallas.
Linda has also formed an all-classic rock band with Dave Hineman of The Flavours called Dream On.
Linda has performed with the all-disco band Le Freak at many Dallas Cowboys games and was known on stage as "Nevada Nikki".
Linda's voice has been requested for various studio projects and corporate jingles, including the Joe's Crab Shack Television commercial that ran for many years.
Linda's strength lies not only in her powerful and versatile voice (focusing on rock, jazz, soul and blues) but also in her theatrical and charismatic stage performance.

Linda with Dream On at Memphis tonight - it's her birthday!
Linda will be performing with her all classic-rock band Dream On tonight, Tuesday March 8, at Memphis in Addison. The show starts as usual at 10pm and will feature all your classic rock favorites. One special note for tonight - it is Linda's birthday! So please come out and wish her happy birthday if you can and enjoy the show.

Linda performing with Dream On tonight Wednesday Feb 16 at Down Under in Frisco!
Linda will be performing with Dream On at Down Under Pub in Frisco on Wednesday February 16, 2011.
So, we need her supporters, (you guys!) to come out tonight and show that classic rock music can bring as much of a crowd as the usual dance band. Please if it is at all possible come out Wednesday night for a little while and say hello - the support will really be appreciated.
Down Under Pub is located at Preston Rd and Gaylord Parkway in Frisco. The show starts at 9pm and ends at midnight so don´t be late!

To benefit fellow diva, Amy Brown of Domino Effect, who has just gone through a double organ transplant (kidney and ...pancreas).
Linda will close the evening with Dream On.
